The weather is one of the major benefits of living in Converse and the surrounding areas. As part of a humid subtropical climate zone, residents enjoy warm winters with high temperatures in the 60s. Cold weather at or below the freezing point is rare, but when it does occur, residents appreciate having an efficient heat pump or furnace in place to keep them warm.

Summers in Converse are hot with high temperatures easily reaching the upper 90s. Humidity levels are also high, so a temperature of 95 degrees could easily feel another 10-15 degrees warmer than that. To keep cool, residents rely on air conditioning systems to keep their homes comfortable. It is recommended that homeowners have their cooling systems serviced in the spring so that they are ready to go when the hottest weather strikes.
