About Alamo Heights, TX - Happy to be your hometown Heating & Air Conditioning Contractor!

Alamo Heights is a San Antonio, Texas enclave located in Bexar County. This means that the city is surrounded by San Antonio on all sides, and it is situated about five miles north of the city’s downtown area. As of 2010, the population of Alamo Heights had exceeded 7,000 residents. The Alamo Heights Independent School District serves the area, and graduating seniors can continue their education at the University of the Incarnate Word, which is partially located within the city. Trinity University is also located nearby, situated on mile outside of the city limits in Monte Vista.

Alamo Heights is home to a lot of great shopping opportunities in the San Antonio area. Sunset Ridge Home and Hardware has been a city staple for over 20 years, and it is a fun and funky store nestled in the Sunset Ridge Shopping Center. The Alamo Quarry Market offers stores like the Lucchese Boot Company that will help residents to find the cowboy boots that will help them to look like a true Texan. Visitors may also enjoy visiting the Central Market, an upscale grocery store that is one of the top sightseeing locales in all of San Antonio, or Whole Earth Provisions that offers nature-oriented gifts and toys.

The weather of Alamo Heights makes it a popular destination for visitors and residents. During the winter, the climate is comfortable and warm, and temperatures typically reach the low-60s in January. Although uncommon, cold fronts are possible, so most properties will have a heat pump or furnace in place, just in case the weather becomes unpleasant. During the summer months, conditions become hot with high humidity, and an efficient home cooling system is essential to keep interior environments comfortable and safe. Without these climate control systems in place, the heat could be dangerous.
