About Cibolo, TX - Happy to be your hometown Heating & Air Conditioning Contractor!

Cibolo is a Texas city location in portions of Guadalupe and Bexar counties. As of 2010 the population was nearly 20,000 residents, showing a major increase from the population of roughly 3,000 in the year 2000. The name Cibolo is a Native American word for buffalo, and the community was originally established after the Southern Pacific Railroad cut through the area in route to major metropolitan areas like San Antonio and Houston. In 2009, the city introduced a new slogan and logo, “City of Choice.”

There are a variety of unique attractions and things to do in Cibolo. Local 5 Stones Artisan Brewery is a popular nighttime hotspot. There are numerous places for residents to go for a day of pampering, including the Ultimate Cut Barbershop, Stylin Hair Salon and Spa, and Salon Bellazza. There are also several great cafes and places to get a good cup of coffee in the community, including Cibolo Coffee Haus, Emily’s Place Coffee Shoppe, and Super Donuts.

For visitors that aren’t satisfied with the attractions available in Cibolo, a short drive will get them into the heart of the action in San Antonio. Thrill seekers may enjoy a day at Six Flags Fiesta Texas or SeaWorld. Other popular attractions include the McNay Art Museum and the Magik Children’s Theater.

The weather in the Cibolo area is characterized by summer months with high temperatures and humidity, and they can be uncomfortable at times. To beat the heat, residents will want to ensure that their home air conditioning system is in optimal working order before hottest weather begins in July, as temperatures can easily reach the upper-90s during July and August. Residents will get a break from the heat in the winter, as conditions are usually mild to warm, but some days of freezing temps can still occur. During these months, a reliable heat pump or furnace is necessary to make sure that residents stay safe and comfortable.
