About San Antonio, TX - Happy to be your hometown Heating & Air Conditioning Contractor!

San Antonio, Texas is the county seat of Bexar County, and it is the 7th largest city in the United States. As of 2010, the population had exceeded 1.4 million residents, making it the second largest city in Texas by population. There are several facilities with the U.S. armed forces located here, including Lackland Air Force Base, Fort Sam Houston, and Randolph Air Force Base, among others. While the military makes up a big part of the San Antonio economy, higher education is also important, with notable institutions including the University of Texas at San Antonio, the University of Texas Health Science Center, and Texas A&M University – San Antonio.

San Antonio’s downtown area attracts many of the city’s visitors. The River Walk is one of the city’s most popular destinations, and it is lined with a ton of stores, restaurants, bars, and nightlife, inducing the Arneson River Theater. The Majestic Theatre, the Cathedral of San Fernando, and Hemisfair Park are also located in the downtown area.  Outside of the inner portion of the city, some of the main San Antonio attractions are SeaWorld, which is situated in Westover Hills, and Six Flags Fiesta Texas. The Alamo Mission in San Antonio, otherwise referred to as “The Alamo”, is one of the city’s most historical attractions.

The weather of San Antonio makes it a popular place to visit and live. During the winter, conditions are comfortable and warm, and temperatures usually fall in the low-60s in January. Although uncommon, cold snaps are not unheard of, so most homes and businesses will have a heat pump or furnace in place, just in case. During the summer, conditions become hot and humid, and an efficient air conditioning system is essential to keep interior environments safe and comfortable. Without these systems, the heat could be dangerous and may lead to heat-related illnesses and injuries.
